COO – Ted Bowlds, PhD, LtGen USAF (ret)

Ted F Bowlds was previously the CEO & CTO for IAI North America.  He was responsible for program management, engineering, technology transfer, and innovation in this capacity.  Before this job, Ted served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for FlightSafety, International.  During his 36-year career in the United States Air Force, Ted led multiple large-scale, and complex procurement activities.  The programs include the F-117 stealth fighter, B-2 bomber, and C-17 transport.  As Commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), he was responsible for the diverse research undertaken by AFRL ranging from microelectronics, human factors, medical, aeronautics, computers, satellites, and power generation.  His last active duty assignment was as the Electronic Systems Center and Program Executive Officer (PEO) Commander for Air Force information technology procurements, applications, and systems.

Over 20 years of experience working in Finance for Aerospace and Defense companies. CPA with broad accounting expertise and knowledge of US GAAP | IFRS | FAR | DFARS | CAS | ITAR | FOCI | SSA, as well as extensive experience with cost accounting, project accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), due diligence, company integration, ERP design & implementation, risk management, talent development and establishing effective financial policy and procedure.
